Once
satisfied with the shape, bring the remaining hair from the front of the ears
to create a sleek finish and secure with grips.
·
Finish the
hair with pins to bring away any stray hairs.
·
Finish with
hairspray.
Self Evaluation:
I wasn’t overly pleased with the
outcome of this hairstyle. I almost gave up halfway through as I really felt I
struggled to create the french pleat. My models hair was still slightly wet and
I should have dried this before styling. I also became frustrated because we
created a very similar look to this last year, but we set the hair in curls
using tongs. I found that particular method much easier than this one. I
finally managed to create a successful pleat, but I am not perfectly satisfied
with the finish. Despite being disappointed with the outcome of the pleat, I
was pleased with the height and shape of the beehive.
